Super Eagles and Atalanta attacker Ademola Lookman is reportedly on the verge of a transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad.

The Saudi Arabian club looks set to beat interest from Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea for the 26 year-old’s signature.

According to Italian transfer expert Rudy Galetti, Lookman is said to have agreed to an offer of $15 million per season from the Saudi Arabian club who now need to agree a fee with Atalanta.

Al Ittihad have reportedly bid €35 million for the former Leicester City and RB Leipzig forward but the Serie A side want €60 million.

Should Lookman move to Saudi Arabia, he will become the highest paid Nigerian footballer, surpassing Victor Osimhen’s current earnings of €12.82 million with Napoli.
